Sunday Snippet

This week we were treated to a preview /invitation to the upcoming Strengthening Marriage and Family courses co-ordinated by Elder and Sister Ross.
It was noted that these courses are not designed for counseling troubled situations but they are there to provide us with tools to handle situations that we may possibly encounter in our relationships.
Former students agreed they had received much helpful information in the course and that it was well worth the one evening a week for six weeks.
Our Stake President would like all married couples whether married 60 years or 6 months to complete the course. He would also like courting or engaged couples and all the YSA to complete the course as well, because of the useful tools that they will gain to help them in the future.

Last week we had our Hobart Stake Week at the Temple. It was awesome, it was wonderful, it was fantastic, it was historic! There were records set for the number of ordinances performed in the temple on one day. President Lobley noted that they are saved one at a time and he chose not to give numbers. Hobart Stake provided about ten ordinance workers and over a hundred patrons. Extra seats were added to the endowment rooms. All rooms at the Temple were in use.
Hobart Stake will have a week allocated to it annually and as we participate in this opportunity to receive the blessings of the temples we will be enriched individually and collectively.
