Fleurty's Walk

We heard about a  fun little walk down the Channel Highway called Fleurty's Walk and thought it would be a fun thing to do as a RS group.  So..... it's late notice, this Wednesday, meeting there at 11am.  If you need a ride give Blanche or Chelsea a call.  Invites and maps etc will be handed out Sunday.  Hope you can join us!

WARD CONFERENCE.

This Sunday is Ward Conference. That means that we will begin our day with Relief Society which will be 5 minutes shorter than usual.

We will also be serving  Ice Cream after the meetings. We would like to encourage you to stay and friendship with our visitors and ward members.

Welcome

We would like to welcome Alicia Hutchinson to the ward. Alicia recently married Dallin.  They are living at Sandy Bay. Welcome Alicia

STAKE RELIEF SOCIETY

On Sunday Sisters Fran and Betty were released from their Stake Relief Society callings as Councellors to Sis. Louella. We wish to thank them for all the wonderful work they did to help us fulfill our callings. We will miss them but it will be nice to see Sis Fran in our own ward more often (if she ever stops travelling)

Sisters Evelyn Hatchard and Katie Mackay  have been called as the new councellors. We are looking forward to meeting with them soon.

We have been invited to attend the Stake Relief Society Service activity on Saturday the 23rd May at 8.00 -9.30.  Donations of Journals, Photo Albums and Recipe books would be appreciated to donate to the victims of the Victorian Bush Fires.

Happy Mothers Day

We would like to wish all sisters a Happy Mothers Day.  Take a moment to think about what you are grateful to your mother for.

We would also like to wish Happy Birthday to Rosi Black (3rd May), Karina Thorne (11th) and Lisa Richardson  (13th)

Can You Help?

We need baby things for a new Mum, especially a change table and a pram.
Baby is due in June and all items in good condition will be appreciated.
